Vespene:
A few suggestions,
1. I Still think a situational buff would be amazing to have in simulator, like thaddius or malygos, while the dps simulator is designed more for a tank and spank fight I think it would still be great to see.
2. I also think it should have not only a standard rotation but a popular rotation for those users that create a custom rotation, if we found out some specs were using a new rotation it'd be great I you could pull that custom data.
3. Once again I'm reaching away from the intent of the simulator, and I understand the difficulty to code, but adding a pvp simulator target could yield more users if you could customize how much armor and resilience and allowing pvp dks and in time other classes know how much damage they could do against someone in an arena.

Eventually I'd like to have user accounts on the server -- opens up more possibilities for sharing data, or ranking builds and rotations -- cool stuff like that.

A pvp target might not be too hard to do... I guess what you really care about in PvP is your burst DPS potential over very short periods of time.  Would have to think about the best conditions to come up with useful numbers.
