Previously, this post contained a lot of fancy math.  Well, Mr. Robot is not a huge fan of fancy math.  He prefers simple math, and lots and lots of iterations.  Enter RoboMaul, his pet bear!

The RoboMaul simulator is meant to be an easy-to-use tool for bear druids to get a better sense of what happens in a fight, and how modifications to their gear will actually affect their damage taken.

Thank you for the information, I was wondering why stat weights on the optimizer changed so drastically recently.  It has been difficult to find good information for the post nerf bear tank.

We're actually updating things again soon... sorry to keep changing stuff!  In general the weights won't change a ton, but it'll be even more accurate!  Stay tuned over the next couple days.

This seems an awesome idea to me, i'm posting to mention a bug(?) or a slight error?

When trying to find my character, RoboMaul seems to deny that my character is a feral druid

I've checked my armoury and all seems well, am I doing something wrong?

Same happened to me. I think it tries to use the gear/stats you last used with the gear optimizer. It worked fine after I reloaded my character in the gear optimizer then went back to RoboMaul.

And that's a good point... it loads from the cache by default, and yeah, if you weren't feral (cat or bear) the last time you used mr. robot, you'll have to reload.  I should really fix that up so you can reload right on the RoboMaul page too.

Can you share with us the stat weightings that were used for the simulations so that I can plug the winning stat weights into the optimizer?  Thanks in advance.
