Just to double check: are you using your username, not your email address, to log in?

Not sure why email would be considered invalid. These days email is synonymous with username.
It’s just a thing with the client program that we never got around to changing… the authentication system that the client uses requires your actual username. It’s something we will probably change one day, just keeps getting pushed down the list.
