Artifact Path simulator client program- wrong OS downloaded

I have just downloaded the Mac OS client program, and it will not run at all. And the folder is full of Microsoft.Extension files, so it would appear that even though I selected the Mac OS client (did it 2 times) I end up with what appears to be a Windows file.

Help please.

What files are windows files? Also, have you checked out this: Sim client install help - Mac OS
