Error running simulator on Mac

An unexpected error has occurred: The type initializer for ‘System.Net.Http.CurlHandler’ threw an exception.

  • macOS Sierra 10.12
  • OpenSSL version 1.0.2l (25 May 2017) - installed and updated with MacPorts

How can I fix it? Tried to find solution but found only one telling to update OpenSSL. It did not help.
