Feral Druid DPS best in bags

I have some issues with what the algorithm is suggesting and the weirdest part is that AMR does have the same…
Here is my character: http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/gear/eu/throk’feroth/schmurfy

With the gear I currently own if I use best in bags it tries to equip “Draught of Soul” (900 ilvl): in my experience this trinket is not that great for feral which led me to do a few tests with the optimizer only to realize than replacing it with the “Arconogolem Digit” (ilvl 900) increases the simulation dps by almost 20k dps…
I understand there is an error margin but is this normal for it to keep sugesting an inferior setup even by its own calculations ? I also have similar issues with the lengendary choices where the simulation results disagree with the suggestions.

I am using a custom trained strategy but the default Ursoc one does the same for the trinkets, any idea what could be happening ?

It sounds like you might be using the default gearing strategy (stat weights) - which are based on a typical character, not specifically your character.

To run a custom setup, follow this guide: http://i.imgur.com/wBitmQb.jpg

The custom setup will sim every trinket and legendary and any item with a proc, along with the stat weights. Then it bundles the proc simulation data in with the stat weights so that procs get ranked from the sim data. This is important since stat weights can’t rank those.

If you run a custom setup (or need help, let me know), and it still isn’t working… link us the report to your custom stat weight simulation. Also post your text-string that you are using for best in bags and we can reproduce what you see and do some troubleshooting. But the custom stat weights will likely ‘fix’ what you are seeing

I am using a custom strategy with machine learning, here is the report: /wow/simulator/report/bff850cb706c4ff086cfb11d9b648be8

Edit: from what is shown with best in bags you can increase the simulation dps by forcing “Nightblooming Frond” and “Arcanogolem Digit” as tinkets and “Chatoyant Signet” as second ring

I ran a custom V2 gearing strat for you (not sure if you used the regular ‘gearing strategy’ option or V2). And it looks like best in bags sims higher than your current gear (and higher than the nightblooming / arcano combo) by a tiny amount.

Here’s the report you can use - click the green ‘save and use’ button. Not Available

Here is best in bags based off that, 810k Not Available

Here is your current gear: 806k: Not Available

Sorry I was away for a few days I did not see your answer sooner.

I used the regular Gearing strategy and did not see the gearing v2 option, with what you show these results seems more in line with what I see in game thanks I will do more testing with it.
