Holy Paladin Stat Priority Issue

Why is the addon pulling my character items away from crit when I need it to stay between 45-50%. I’ve been searching for a way to change the stat priority in game with no luck. Icy Veins and and WoWHead have the same exact priority list but it just seems the addon is out of date or something.

I’ve tried using the BIB option for a week to just test it out and i was getting horrible healing results compare to high crit. Can anyone help me out with this?

The reduction in crit is mainly due to picking up the 4 piece t20 bonus and changing out your trinkets.

If you aren’t getting to low mana in fights, you could not use the mindslaver and lock in one of your crit trinkets. If you don’t think the 4 piece bonus is going to be helpful to you, you can lock in the lower level crit items as well, but since holy paladins are usually expected to be heavy tank healers… I think it will end up being good.

What type of content are you doing? The default strategy right now is for a raid fight with 20 people in which the tanks are taking very heavy damage, and in which your mana pool is pushed. In general, if you look at the gearing strategy, it favors getting a lot of crit on your gear, but not at a major loss of item level.

Maybe you are playing differently than we expect if you are seeing bad results? If you aren’t able to make use of the t20 4 piece or the trinkets that get swapped in, then it could feel worse… but those effects can all be pretty solid.

You could lock in the lower item level items you want to keep on. The stat priority is already what you want: it favors crit.

The thing you apparently don’t give value to are the special effects the optimizer is picking up. So, in that case, you just have to lock in items to stop it from getting those.
