I am struggling big time with the above Ask.mr.robot says one thing and Simc another - how do i know who is right?
I have mastery 70% , Haste 20%
Askmrrobot says to add more mastery (gem , enchants)
Simc wants more haste
I am pretty confused right now and would appreciate some advice

So, SimC doesn’t really tell you much about what gear to use. It will tell you how much damage any particular set of gear does.
The very basic “stat scaling” that is available in SimC will just give you a very rough idea of what stats should be on the next item or two that you equip, assuming that item you equip does not change any of your special effects like set bonuses, legendary items, or trinket procs.
Ask Mr. Robot’s adaptive gearing strategies are based on millions of simulations. The data is used to build up a predictive model that can quickly predict how much DPS any given set of gear will simulate to, within a very small margin of error. With that information, we can look through all the gear you have and pick the set that will do the most damage.
Simple stat priorities are of limited usefulness. There are sets of gear with high Mastery, Haste, and Crit that all perform very near-optimal for BM hunters. Ask Mr. Robot’s method of ranking gear is able to “see” all the possible solutions, and isn’t locked into one local maximum.
If your goal is to pick gear that simulates to the highest DPS, trust the robot. It is the best way to optimize gear out there.

So if i understand you correct the best procedur is to use
Mrrobot first with the gear equiped , then do all enchants and gems as suggested.
Then use Simcraft to help find next upgrade of items looted etc?

Our gear optimizer can tell you what items to get next without you needing to do the extra work of simulating. You can use the Upgrade Finder, or just the ranked lists of gear on the Gear Explorer that show up when you click on a slot.
If you do want to simulate to test out gear combinations, our simulator is very easy to use and based on real boss fights. On the gear optimizer you will see green buttons that say “Simulate” or “Simulate this Setup”. Press it to load your current character directly into the simulator and run it.
