Can’t get past the character import screen. I’m using the AMR in-game export, but when I post the string in the import box, the loading circle pops up and quickly disappears, but my character never loads. I also can’t load my character from the recent list or the armory lookup.
Could you post the string of data here that you are trying to copy to the website?
The loading is pretty quick… you should see your character name at the top of the page after loading, then you can click on a feature to go to it and optimize your character.
A character won’t show up in the recent list until you successfully load it via either the addon or the armory once.

What browser are you using?
I use Microsoft Edge
I tried your string in both Chrome and Edge, works for me. 
Can you try in a “InPrivate window” in Edge, just to see if that helps or not.

It worked in a private window. any idea why? is there a ‘cache’ issue or something in edge I need to clean up?
Maybe something weird got cached in your browser…
To clear local storage, it’s a bit roundabout, but might solve the problem. Open up Edge, go to our website (any page on our website). Press F12 to bring up the developer tools, and go to the Debugger tab. In the tree on the left, go to Local Storage, www.askmrobot.com. You should then see a list of key/value pairs. Just click on the top value in the list, and keep pressing Delete to delete all of the values. Then reload the page and give it another try.
