As the title says, the Multi-Target strategy for my shadow priest wants me to remove “Heart of the Void” with “Prydaz, Xavaric’s Magnum Opus”. Even if it’s to get a 2p set bonus so have I hard time to see that legendary taking priority over others.

I get “Prydaz” as Best in Bags suggestion for Single-Target now as well. Making me not to want to use AMR since I fail to see how an absorb shield on my self increases my DPS output.

Do you have an export string for your single target setup? I’m not personally a shadow priest expert, so I’m not sure what single-target gear or talent build you would usually run.

For the multi-target setup, I’d have to look at it a bit closer… another person was running into an issue as well, and I think it has to do with the “soul” ring for shadow, something didn’t end up ranking correctly. Still trying to track down what is causing that particular case to not rank as well as it should.

Thanks – I think that I found the issue with the multi-target case… seems there is a bug the “soul” ring where it is discarding a better solution when it should be keeping it, I think I can fix that in a quick website update sometime today.

For single-target, still looking at that. Looking under the hood, the estimates it is using for your current setup are pretty spot-on, but it is somehow overestimating the value of the secondary stat gains from swapping to the necklace (or possibly underestimating the loss in DPS for removing the belt). Haven’t quite figured it out yet… could be a strong interaction between some effects going on that we need to add some more data points to cover.

I posted an update that should improve on these cases quite a bit. Let me know how it looks – you may need to change a setting or re-import to clear out the server-side optimization cache.
