I have taken every single relic from my bank and my bags and placed them in the crucible to find out what traits they may have if I equip them. I am just putting it in the far right box that “pre shows” what traits will be gained if I did equip it.

I export the string from the addon and import it to the site. I still get a warning saying “You have one or more relics in your bags or bank that have not been previewed at the Netherlight Crucible”.

Is there a way to show which ones it claims haven’t been revealed by the crucible yet? Because I believe I have every one done. I went through each spec and tried to place every relic in there even if it didn’t suit the spec just to check.

I would really like to work this out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’m experiencing this same thing as well. I’m absolutely sure I have placed every single one of my relics in the crucible, but that warning never disappears.

You have to preview the relic (ie put it at the 4th slot in the crucible) for every spec you got. That means if you are a druid for example, you need to preview the relic for all 4 specs (change spec and put the relic at the 4th slot).

You should only need to preview each relic once, doesn’t matter which spec.

I did notice that somehow, some people have duplicates of relics in their inventory data… usually going through the steps to reinitialize all of your data can resolve that (open bank, activate each spec once and open artifact UI, open crucible on each spec once as well, then preview each relic in your bag – just once is fine).

If that doesn’t work… you can try deleting your AskMrRobot.lua saved variable file in your wtf/account/[your account name]/savedvariables folder. That will completely reset any cached info in the addon.

Deleting AskMrRobot.lua fixed the problem for me, thank you!

i am also having this same issue and have done all the advice above, except the delete saved variable as in that folder there is nothing saved in it.

Mine was in wtf/account/accountname/savedvariables.

The folder wtf/account/savedvariables is empty for me as well.

you are correct it was there but this has made no difference, still same issue, i have 3 of some relics i believe the issues maybe caused by this

If you want to post your addon string that you copy from the addon to our site, we can take a closer look.

Also, not sure if you did this: you need to completely exit WoW, delete the settings file, then start WoW again. Otherwise it won’t work.

Also something i have noticed as of right now is that if i use the relic explorer, in the choose relic slot to compare its not showing any of the 26 relics i have in the bag

I replied about your relics in the other thread. As for the relic explorer not showing any options, I cannot reproduce this issue – I see your relics in the list. It seems that you have not previewed any of your storm relics though, only fire and iron.

I deleted the settings and the problem went away for a day. Now the problem has returned.

Fix the website so it tells me what relic I need to preview.
Fix the add-on so it removes stale data.

It’s on my list to check out… I think there is a bug with moving relics to/from your bank perhaps. Sometimes if you move your relics into the bank and then back out, it fixes it up.

I hope to be able to turn to some addon updates soonish… probably after the holidays.
