I noticed on Raider IO that the top ranked ELe Shamans stack a lot of Versatility over extra Crit. What is the reason for this?
At a certain point in Mythic+ (afaik at around +20, depending on class/spec), you’ll reach a point where doing more damage won’t help you that much anymore because you will simply die from unavoidable damage (e.g. Pistol Shot at Skycap’n Kragg or Powder Shot at Captain Eudora in Freehold). The damage reduction from Versatility will then be absolutely required to be able to survive and on even higher keys that will only get worse.

And if you get even higher; avoidance become your main stats
