We can look into that. In general I have plans to more tightly integrate the upgrade finder with best in slot, but things keep delaying it. It is on my short list of new features to tackle next though.
We just posted an update that should correct the issue with the myth 1/6 versions missing the extra bonus effect.
An other thing on raid bosses you can bonus roll the set tokens too.
Thanks, yeah I noticed that earlier this week, the mapping of set item to which boss drops it is missing so they aren’t showing up for the bonus rolls. I’ll add it in a site update tomorrow.
It is taking a little longer to get that one working because it is a little trickier to determine whether to remove the set token from the bonus roll list due to all the other variations of the set item one could potentially have. (I’m assuming that if you have converted an item to a set item, you could still bonus roll the token. But if you have the “base” set item that you created via a token, then the token won’t show up in the bonus roll list anymore.)
You need to bonus roll the item/token to remove it from the result pool.
A way to check what a player has still available, that I know of, is to query: C_TooltipInfo.GetItemByID(voidcacheItemID, nil, itemContext, treasureContext) were voidcacheItemID is one of thoses with applicable contexts:
Item Context: Normal (3), LFR (4), Heroic (5), Mythic (6), Mythic+ (16), Delve (108), Prey (55)
Treasure Context: In Mythic+ is the key level. In Delves the tier. In Raids 1-4 (1: Nymrissa Wavecaller, Soulcoiler Nek’zali, 2: Tortollan Explorers, Entombed Sentinels, 3: Vashnik, Sszorak, The Twin Fangs, 4: The Coiled Altar, Ula’tek)
What you get is a list of item names which the player still can roll for this context. Note that the information needs to be cached by the game, most the time the first call has no items listed.
Thanks, I tried that and was able to get the tooltip text for the cache. Unfortunately that is pretty difficult to work with… (different languages, etc.), but I’ll see what we can do.
We posted an update today with some changes to the Bonus Roll search:
-
It now should correctly have the set token items on the proper bosses.

Trying to figure out which items you have already bonus-rolled on a particular boss/difficulty proved to be pretty unreliable… the game API for it just isn’t good enough. For now, we have added a way for you to manually indicate if you have won an item via a bonus roll. When looking at the Bonus Roll results, expand one of the groups to see the list of items. Then click the exclude icon to the right of it. The Re-Calculate button will activate: click that to save your exclusion and get a new ranking. The Bonus Roll group name will turn yellow if you have excluded an item underneath it, so you can easily see which you have already won something from.
We’ll keep poking at automatically determining what you have rolled, but this should be an OK stop gap for now.
