For Frost mages the crit cap for shatter is 33.4%. After that I should go haste. I have nearly reached the crit cap on my gear, so I would like to find upgrades from here that keep that 33.4% sweet spot but allow me to start increasing haste. What value do I put in the cap section for crit? It’s not a percentage right?
You put in a rating amount on gear. 400 crit rating = 1% crit. All classes have 5% base crit, so you would need 33.4 - 5 crit, times 400, or 11360 rating on gear.
If you typically use crit food, you would want to subtract that out as well, or use different food.
