Prot paladin weird suggestions BiB

Hi,

Since BfA the Best in bags for prot paladin seems a bit weird. When i use AMR Best in Bags the character sheet says i need less haste but yet AMR puts 3 haste gems and a haste enchant on my ring.

Is this how its supposed to work? am i missing something here?

This is a nuance of gearing that is hard to explain. You will notice that it says that gear better than yours “often” has more haste and less vers. Not always. Your current gear is not able to achieve one of those stat distributions, so the optimizer is using the best one that it can achieve, which happens to have some more versatility.
