hello, players are doing more dps than the H taloc sim… should i even be using it??? because the talents it sim’d for me are different to what the top players are using on the logs.
Can you point out people who are doing more?
I compared the #1 person on taloc to sims and nothing seems wrong

His results are perfectly inline with someone who got perfect RNG and didn’t have to do nearly any mechanic.

He’s actually under what the sim could produce.
Also keep in mind, if you perform extremely well and get lucky crit streaks and proc timings, you should beat the boss script. A simulator is finding the average, like flipping a coin. If you flip a coin 10 times, some times you might get 4 tails. Another set of 10 might yield 8 tails. But if you do this 1,000 times, tails will average to show up 50% of the time.
If you can never beat a simulator, then the model is wrong. I don’t know for sure if this is what you are running into or not. Like nemo mentioned, more information, like links to logs, would be helpful so we can look into it.
