AMR suggesting I unequip 4 piece as Demonology / legendary concerns

I’ve been using AMR on and off since MoP, and for the most part it has given me accurate suggestions. Going into Tomb my guild is going to be using it as a tool to distribute loot.

For Nighthold T19 at least, using Machine Learning my BiB tells me to take off my four piece and equip Sin’Dorei’s Spite + Wilfred’s ring. This makes very little sense as Recurrent Ritual is universally our best legendary on almost every fight, while Sin’Dorei’s is rather weak.

More bizarrely is the suggestion to remove my T19. Here is my gearset as AMR recommends (2 piece only):

When I remove my 4 piece for more stats, I lose about 50,000 DPS in Simcraft (I know you use different technology). When I remove RR and equip Sin’Dorei’s, as the tool suggests, I lose over 100,000.

AMR kind of seems to understand the value of T20 4 piece, but significantly undervalues T19 4 piece for Demo. In addition, one last question, but the tool is suggesting that I dump my Mark of the Claw (1000 haste/crit proc) for a 600 mastery neck enchant. That seems odd as well.

I’d also like to point out that Sin’dorei procs too often in the simulation. It cannot happen more than once every 3 minutes, but the reports is proccing it every minute. Not Available

also that and doomguard summons are counting 4.5 which isn’t possible. it’s either 4 or 5 summons.
Service: Felguard is also counting a “half summon” at 3.5.

Please fix this if possible.

Someone else would have to answer your first question because I am not a warlock, but I can explain the summon counts: they are an average.

We vary the fight length from run to run, this gives more meaningful results because you don’t know exactly how long any given fight will be in game. Sometimes it is fitting 3, sometimes 4. Average them, it is 3.5 for the average fight length.

Gotcha. Make sense RE: averages because of fight length.

However the Sin’dorei proccing too often is still a bug I think and is causing it to be weighted incorrectly. The debuff you get after first use is Sin'dorei Spite - Spell - World of Warcraft if that helps.

I agree with harpst3r. If Sin’dorei is weighted wrong because of procs that needs to be fixed please. Warlock discord channel has it much farther down in any combination then AMR.

Yeah, it looks like it is proc’ing too often if you also have Wilfred’s. I’ll make a fix for it today sometime.
