I’m back after a long time and am leveling my Druid, wanted to get the setups redone for flexibility and to get back into the swing of things. Took a while to delete the old setups, got errors along the way, but logging out and in each time seemed to resolve it, but now I can’t seem to do a regular best in slots for a baseline.
Best in Slot is designed for max-level characters, so it shows a message to that effect when you try to run it on your level 78 character. It could produce unusual results on lower-level characters so we just disable it until you hit max level.
You can either use a generic character in the meantime (click on your character name at the top of the page, then in the character picker that pops up there is a “generic character” picker at the bottom-right), or just wait until you hit level 80 – leveling is super fast this expansion.
Out of curiosity, do you recall what errors you were getting or what you were doing when the errors happened? Were they errors in the addon or on the website? In theory both the addon and the website should be able to upgrade old data to the newer formats, but apparently we missed a few cases.
Also, if you ever encounter an addon error (with any addon), reloading your UI does all the same things that a log in/out would do in most cases and is a lot faster. You can just type “/reload” in the chat window in-game and press enter.
There were no errors in the add-on that surfaced, but I didn’t have Bugsack running. Only errors on the website.
