the BiB optimizer recommends to replace the embelished wrists and the 4-set bonus with other items.
Are these really that bad for my possible gear selection?

I’ll take a look – as you move more towards toughness on the strategy slider the 4-piece set bonus will get weaker as it is primarily a damage bonus, but I would expect it to pick the 4-piece a bit more aggressively than it is.
As for the embellishment, most of them are very small so it is not surprising that a slightly higher item level piece of gear with different secondary stats might be chosen. I can double check that it is being ranked correctly though.
Sorry for the late follow-up on this: we did an update that should improve the rankings for yours and similar cases.
It was indeed undervaluing the 4pc guardian bonus in some cases, that should be resolved now.
There was also an issue with the arcanoweave lining embellishment for melee specs (the game data is missing a melee trigger event, but it certainly seems to work for melee characters in game… so we manually override that and it should be working now).
