Druid:
I got a 470 socketed legs with Infinite Star on them and thought that was rather lucky, however BiB didn’t pick them.
So I ran a couple of sims and they do come out as better by about 1.2k DPS, at what point does this become statistically significant?

It also gets hung up on my two chest pieces which are almost identical, sometimes it tells me to swap them but change no traits!
Rogue:
On my rogue I’ve got an even stranger one, I’m not sure why but it’s asking me to change traits on two pieces of gear to get the same traits overall!

I got a chuckle out of it but it was also surprising.
@yellowfive I’m guessing it’s iterating through my gear and knows that The First Dance is important so it’s putting it in the first azerite piece going down, then when it gets to the chest it knows there’s not much value in a second one so it chooses the next best option and continues?
Whatever the case is I suspect you can add ac check for that, or re-implement one you’ve inadvertently disabled/broken while trying to sort something else out, probably gems.
