This is part hypothetical, part RL scenario.
Death Knight - Frost/Blood/Unholy; spent Argunite on a blood Relic & got a 930 Blood of the Unworthy (Relinq., T/forged).
Looked on Wowhead for source - Demonic Inquisition, ToS.
Run BiB & no upgrade on MotD or Apocalypse, “as gemmed” - both had 895 Ur’zul Ichor… (odd, says I)
Is there a way to get BiB to ‘accept’ what’s in my bags, even if the source of the item is not set in my Raid/Dg content list? All I have requested to be covered is ToS LFR, but if Relinquished has the chance to make Normal or better items available, does BiB take this into account.
Add to that, I did a manual search of BiS with all of ToS checked & ‘decided’ that Apocalypse was the best recipient of the Relic, despite my spec. priority.
Without going deep-dive on how I screwed up, if i did, is/was BiB ‘broken’ in this example or “working as intended”…?
With Relinquished gear as an upgrade route of choice, should I have more ‘Raid sources’ checked than I have?
