Is this right? The intellect weapon doesn’t have any sockets or anything, just a little more stamina (2.2k hp) and it has worse secondaries (crit, haste) than the agility wep (crit, vers).
Also I just noticed it’s suggesting a 405 mastery w/ leech trinket with an on use effect of increasing intellect over a variety of 420-430 agility trinkets, and even a 435 agility trinket with a socket.
I would need you to post your export string from the addon to help you out.
The optimizer wouldn’t pick an intellect weapon for Brewmaster if there is an agility weapon available.

In this case… it seems like the optimizer feels like you aren’t tough enough, so it’s ignoring damage and equipping items purely for toughness. The leech and mastery on that intellect trinket are more useful for defense than your other ones.
In the setup step, if you click on the gearing strategy and push the slider more towards DPS, the results look better. I’ll have to look at why it’s making the weird weapon choice… it shouldn’t really be considering that intellect weapon. I also don’t think it should be worried about toughness on a 425+ ilvl brewmaster… Something seems off with this example - we should be able to fix it up.
I updated some of the data, give it another try – not sure what made it go wacky on the first pass, but seems better now.
