5aca6bb2f4f24e88b1380a0d9b3ad0a2 is my snapshot id. I am trying to set my target stats but it doesn’t equal up to what I need. The most the strategy will allow me to use is 3000ish but I want to set it to about 4300 total. Should I just figured out the percentages of those numbers and match it to the percentages would be at 3000?
Yeah the number is just an example. You are actually setting percentages that will scale to whatever item level your gear ends up at after optimizing. I can update the text to a budget closer to what people will see in season 2.
That said, take care when using the secondary stat override feature. While it is a cool customization option, it tends to fight against the optimizer and make the upgrade finder give unexpected results in some cases.
You can always let us know what you are trying to do that is different than what the optimizer wants to pick, and we can figure out if some other combination of settings can get you the result you want, or figure out why the optimizer is producing a different result than you expect.
It seems to work fine and now that I know it is percentages I understand it better. Healing has been easier since I started pushing the stats differently.
You know come to think of it if you just made it to where you could optionally see it in percentages would do wonders.

I thought about doing that when we first made it… but figured we’d run into some confusion. e.g. some people might think setting haste to 25% means to get 25% haste on gear, rather than allocate 25% of your haste rating from gear to haste.
Also side note: current max-level (ilvl335ish) gear has roughly 3400 total secondary stats on it, not sure if your 4300 in original post just had the numbers transposed. That will be in our next update sometime tomorrow.
