[Classic Era] AMR somehow always prioritizing worse trinket over two clearly better trinkets?

When using “best in slot” for gear obtainable in ZG20, AQ20, and below (dungeons etc) the optimizer seems to consistently recommend “Draconic Infused Emblem” over “Talisman of Ascendance” and “Zandalarian Hero Charm”.

This happens for a number of different fight lengths, but especially at this example fight length there I set the length to be long enou8gh to pop the charm twice, there’s no reason for it to be losing to the other two.

If we change the fight length to 60 seconds (snapshot bc998fd45ba346f8850db4b3216f56a5) then suddenly it’s suggesting Eye of Moam beats the ZG trinket?? Forgetting the fact that we’re already setting us up to have curse of elements, so the resistance decrease from eye of moam does basically nothing, let’s take a look at these different trinkets:

Talisman of Ascendance: 6 total casts that has to build it’s spell power
1: +40 sp
2: +80 sp
3: +120 sp
4: +160 sp
5: +200 sp
6: +240 sp
total: 840 sp every 60 seconds (good for trash, or fights you can use it twice)

Zandalarian Hero Charm: lasts 20 sec, frostbolt 2.5 second cast time, 8 total casts, reduces power each cast
1: +204 sp
2: +187 sp
3: +170 sp
4: +153 sp
5: +136 sp
6: +119 sp
7: +102 sp
8: +85 sp
total: +1156 sp every 120 seconds; if a fight lasts more than 1 minute, talisman might win out - but if your fight length is 60s or less this charm is the clear winner in every scenario

Draconic Infused Emblem: lasts 15 sec, 6 total casts, static power each cast:
1-6: +100 sp
total: +600 sp every 75 seconds; seems worse than both of the others in every way

The eye of Moam is similar to Draconic Infused Emblem, except it lasts 30 seconds and provides half the SP. The spell penetration it provides does almost nothing which is why the optimizer doesn’t suggest other spell pen items anywhere in the gear set, so it’s unclear to me why, 60 seconds or less, it’s suggesting eye of moam over the zandalarian hero charm; which you can get the full power of a 120 sec CD for a sub-60 second fight, shouldn’t it just be the clear winner here??

What am I missing in how this is simming these trinkets?

Looks like there was a bug such that the Zandalarian Hero Charm was not adjusting its value based on fight length like the other on-use trinkets. We’ll fix that in the next update and it should resolve the issue.
