Cyrce's Circlet for healers

The ID is for a Full Healing HPal setup, but the ring remains on Full DPS or anywhere in between, too.

So AMR is still suggesting Cyrce’s Circlet for me. I know it’ very possible that it’s actually still putting in work, but it does feel very weird having such a huge ilvl gap. I’m beginning to be questioned by people as to why I’m wearing it and struggling to continue saying, “It just sims better.” Is it simming correctly still?

I get y’all are pretty busy with the patch, so no rush on this

There’s a lot going on across your five setups & the ‘fine-tuning’ is inconsistent (different thresholds for Gems/Enchants, etc).
The top-to-bottom listing of setups WILL make a difference, too.

Cyrce’s Circlet - if you prefer to go full ‘big iL number, better’ there’s nothing to stop you locking in higher iL items instead; your Tank setup has already done so.
AMR only suggest what you equip - if you notice that your abilities & throughput have suffered/are suffering by not having it equipped, lock it in; you CAN also own multiple examples of said Ring, gemmed independently, per setup.

Not the most ‘scientific appraisal’, but it may add to/reinforce what you already know.

Hope that helps… GL.

I adjusted the fine-tuning to be the same between all specs, and nothing changed.
The listing order is exactly how I need it to be.

I’ve never been someone who prioritizes ilvl over actual stats, but it’s starting to reach the point where it’s hard to justify. AMR has never let me down over the years I’ve used it, and I’m fairly confident in what it tells me, even when it sometimes takes a completely different direction from what the meta suggests. It’s gotten me many 99%+ parses in both DPS and HPS.

I’m not sure what you saw on my tank spec, but there’s nothing locked on it at all. It’s also the only spec not being told to use Cyrce’s.

But I do thank you for the input. It gave me things to look at and try to play with on my end.

Just a follow-up… Cyrce's Circlet - Item - World of Warcraft is tagged Unique, so you can’t own a second one… sorry for misleading you.

So looking at this particular case: your next-best replacement ring is only 3 item levels higher than Cyrce’s Circlet, a 662 Ritual Bone Band.

One “sanity check” that I like to do in cases like this is simply look at the total amount of stats that you are getting – ignore which stats for the moment:

662 Ritual Bone Band = 7106 total secondary stats
658 Cyrce’s Circlet = 7083 total secondary stats

(Your case is on the low end for Cyrce’s Circlet because you have low mastery, thus the stat boost from Fathomdweller’s Rune Citrine is pretty small.)

That said, you are getting nearly identical total secondary stats from these two rings – then it becomes more about which has better stats for your spec. Our holy paladin guy could comment a bit more on specific stats, but looking at this result the optimizer seems to like the combo of stats from the circlet better.

My guess is that once you get either a ring without mastery or any ring that is up at the season 3 Champion level or so, your circlet will get replaced.
