Just wondering if this looks correct? AMR has been suggesting a lot of vers recently. I know a sim depends on what you have available in your bags and maybe there is some interaction with a trinket or something I own. Still it doesn’t seem right and people are commenting on my vers. Thank you.

A couple things to note first about your setup:
You have the Raiding gearing strategy selected, but under the Customize tab, you have it set up for what looks like a pretty long Mythic+ scenario. Is that intended?
And a minor note: you have “Force Tier Set” chosen, but you don’t really need it – the optimizer is going to pick the tier set anyway. In general you only need this option if for some strange reason the optimizer doesn’t want to get the tier set on its own – such cases are rare.
As for why it is suggesting more versatility with your particular setup: I would need to poke around and determine why it wants higher versatility (or lower crit) – I’ll try to get some time to do that and figure out which talents in particular cause the strategy to shift. Also note that your trinkets with the optimized setup will both give you pretty decent amounts of crit. So I look at that strategy and see not “high versatility” but rather “high mastery, and about equal amounts of everything else”.
Most of the advice that you’ll see on the internet is focused around the one most popular talent build for a spec. Our site is different in that we’ll take any combination of talents you throw at us and give you a gear suggestion tailored for it. We do our best to give every talent combination equal attention in the code without explicitly favoring certain builds. Thus you can expect the optimizer to find different results for off-meta builds.
Almost every guide out there is going to be running a Templar build with some different spec tree choices than you have. Thus you can expect their gear suggestions to deviate from your case. Even if a guide site has a few other recommended talent builds, e.g. a Herald of the Sun build, they will rarely provide alternate stat priorities for these different talent builds. Our site will take every talent into account and adjust accordingly.
Thank you for the reply. I will have to check on the customize tab. I had made some changes a while back from default at some point and maybe forgot to change it back. As far as spec goes I should be in basically wowheads ST raid build but maybe I should have a close look at the build and the customization tab and try it again. Not at home right now so will check that out and update the post.
Yeah if I turn off the customization options that change it to an AoE fight, and choose the option to use your last-seen talents in-game, it suggests a pretty standard mastery/crit build with minimal changes from your current gear.
