For example I picked up the Timewarped Rothide Crusher which has an iLVL of 180 in game but the AMR site is showing it as iLVL 73 in the optimizer. This is happening for vendor items as well as boss loot.

It has been a huge pain figuring out when Blizzard decides to squish the ilvl of loot this expansion… they have some very ambiguous data and a kind of messy system for it, so as we see examples like this we try to reverse-engineer corrections.

Thanks. I see why it is scaling it too low now… there is a new piece of information that we had been using to try and get the proper item level, but these timewarped items seem to be ignoring that. So now I need to try and determine a rule for when Blizzard decides to use it, and when to ignore it…
I don’t think this will help at all but I noticed the iLVL of the items on the vendor scale as well. I went back after I gained a level and noticed it.

I posted an update that theoretically should resolve this issue the next time you import your character from the addon. Give it another try and see if the items look correct now.
