Not sure if this possible, but it would be hugely beneficial for fresh 80s if the Activate Spec and Equip Gear could pull from Warband Bank. I’m always collecting Warband until equipped gear, however I always get this message if I try to equip gear from Warband Bank, even with Warband Bank window open:
Also an option to override do you want to equip this prompt to go along with this.
I have lots of fresh 80s from Legion Remix and WBoE gear, but as of now I have to search bank and pull gear manually and equip it manually one at a time. Thanks.
That usually means that what AMR is suggesting to equip isn’t actually IN your bags to BE equipped, even if there is the exact same item - down to the secondary spend - in your bags… but no; that option isn’t the way the game is coded; the Warbank isn’t an extension to your character’s bags in that respect.
I’ve pondered on the option of disabling “Include Warbank items” when that happens, to see if the notification disappears, equipping THAT set then re-running Optimise.
It does occur to me that Warbank items -not IN a characters’ bags - require a convoluted coding path; that the items can be appraised as options is one that saves a small amount of time.
I’m not 100% sure if the warning before equipping an un-bound item can be suppressed… but even if it can, I’m hesitant to do so. The main reason is that you can’t easily undo that change – you would need to open a support ticket with Blizzard, and even then I’m not sure if they would always undo it for you.
Our addon will already pull items out of the bank for you and equip them automatically, but only if they are already soulbound. Once it encounters an item that it can’t equip it usually stops processing.
We could look into something like ensuring it always pulls all the items from your gear set into your inventory at least, then let you know that the items are un-bound and you need to manually confirm that you want to equip them. (Though there are some minor issues there… for example a person’s inventory could be full, or some people are very particular about how their inventory is organized and might not like where the addon ends up putting the items.)
