I can use the best in bags but BIS for sub level 80 does not work. Do you have to be level 80 for it to work?
Yes, you have to be level 80 to use Best in Slot – I’ll look into why it’s not showing that message and instead presenting it as an error.
We require this because almost all of the gear in our lists of available end-game gear require level 80 to equip, so you would not get much of a result for a lower-level character.
If you want to just mess around, click the “hamburger” icon next to your character name/icon at the top-left of the page, and edit your player’s level to 80. Then you should be able to run BiS. Note that the next time you import your character from the addon, it will overwrite your level to your player’s current level.
