Recently updated The Crucible of Flame to Rank 4 and it is suggested as a minor slot. Ran the best in bag scenario but it still shows it as Rank 3, even after leaving the game and reloading both AMR and the game. It’s not changing my usage, but it is a bug nonetheless.
As far as I know, that’s not a bug but a deliberate design decision. Rank 4 only provides a cosmetic update of the effect but does not change anything else. For that reason AMR just completely ignores rank 4 and only shows up to rank 3.

Yeah it just made life easier for [code reasons] to consider rank 4 essences the same as rank 3 essences. We figured it was fine because they behave exactly the same.
