When I look at trinkets to see improvements, AMR is recommending Eye of Command, a trinket that has a melee proc effect, over a Bloodthirsty Instinct.

We’ll look into it. The item is flagged as a melee dps item, so I’m not totally sure how it is making it into the list. Probably something to do with crossover from survival.
This is definitely still happening, and I can’t find any evidence that it works for BM Hunters at all. Maybe it has something to do with it thinking the pet’s melee attacks are effected by it?
I think I found it… piece of internal code in the optimizer had it flagged for all agility DPS specs. We’ll change that in the next update.
