I play multiple specs on my paladin. It is a pain to have to “activate xxx spec and equip gear” on each one to have the addon create/update the gear sets. I use the presence of a gear set as an indicator when I am cleaning out my bags.
There is no way to update one of the Blizzard equipment manager sets without first equipping it, unfortunately. That is a limitation of the Blizzard addon API that I couldn’t figure out how to get around.
Hmmm… Maybe just rapidly equip the sets without requiring changing the spec? Trying to think if there’s a class that can’t equip “incorrect” gear for their current spec…
Maybe make a checkbox so it’s an optional behavior?
The change of spec., in game also adds your talents (& Souldbind, for Shadowlands) to the data, so in that respect it’s kinda needed…
