I rarely raid and never run mythics, so I was wondering what is the best option to find the best gear. Would it make more sense to use raid or mythic plus?
If you never do dungeon or raid, you can remove item comming from raid and MM+ using the different option.
For exemple, you can remove this :
Then BiS is going to propose to you mostly crafted item or delves items
Note that sadly there is not “number crafted item” limit. So the result is going to mostly composed of crafted item.

You can also use similar filters on the Upgrade Finder to locate gear from other sources, such as delves.
Note that even if you don’t raid or run mythic+, you can eventually get a full set of tier gear using the catalyst – the Upgrade Finder can help you decide which items to convert into current season set items. Most current-season activities, including delves, reward gear that can be converted.
