How do you use the wcl url to optimize gear

I am trying to use the wcl feature to check optimization of someone’s gear in my guild. I would import using the character sheet except they are logged out as dps. When I try to us the wcl url feature I keep getting this error

" Error

The provided URL could not be read. Try specifying the report ID, fight ID, and player name/ID explicitly."

I have tried several different urls from wcl, but I can’t figure out which url you want. sorry if this is covered somewhere else. I search but didn’t find any tutorials or mentions of it.

I’ll take a look at it… possible that the format has changed a bit.

any updates on this? It still seems to be broken…

Still on the list to look at it – this feature we put in back in Legion… didn’t get much use in BfA, and haven’t had anyone really using it in Shadowlands yet, so it needs some significant updates. Probably won’t be updated until next week sometime.
