Any reason as to not default to HTTPS?
When I log in, the page is secure (as I hope it would be for logins) but then it just redirects me to the non-secure URL for everything else on the site. I do appreciate that my login is secure!

It causes some problems with our advertising partners… hopefully one day they’ll update so we can use https everywhere on the site.

Got a warning about your site being unsecure yesterday, made me delete all my addons immediately. If I see this again I will stop using as well as stop donations, sorry, but not worth ANY risk regardless of what your advertiser are or are not doing.
This is a really old thread… I’ll close it. We no longer show advertisements on our site and we always use https so it is no longer relevant.
One of the certificates expired yesterday, it has been renewed and set up to prevent that from happening in the future. That was my mistake… we have a 2-year renewing plan, but recently all https certificates are only issued for 1 year, and I forgot to update my reminder to be every year instead of every two!
