I have multiple mythic track trinkets like seaforium pacemaker and sacbrood and Best in backs still reccomends normal versions of subpar trinkets like mailemental and screams of a forgotten sky on champ an hero track and I have a noticable drop in singletarget damage when I put on raid compared to m+ gear wich uses proper trinkets
Please can you provide a Snapshot of the character in question, to aid evaluation?
To the right of BiB is a Help tab, clicking it will generate a 32-character string that can be copied and pasted as a reply, here, to replicate what you see in AMR.
Thank you, in advance.

My only conclusion is that whatever changes are being suggested are min-max’ing the secondary stat. balance with next to no headroom for the items you want to use/see as majorly beneficial to how you play… even a difference of thinking with other sites that offer optimisation appraisal.
I see no reason to not choosing (locking in) those particular items & letting an optimiser work around them… Wowhead, for one, agrees that the Pacemaker is a valid option for all Hunters (even Tanks), so I would opt for the ‘executive decision’; keep what AMR suggests & run a few tests to see if your appraisal is valid & swap back, if not.
Remember… AMR is merely making suggestions, you - the player - will always have the best ‘feeling’ based on your exact play style.
I will, however concede that my ‘theorycrafting’, per se, of any given Class is next to minimal & that @yellowfive &/or @Swol may have (access to) better knowledge to help you.
I can take a look at this today or tomorrow and see what’s up.
Note: the value of most of your top trinkets is going to be pretty close… though it’s possible we might be ranking screams of a forgotten sky and mailemental a tad high for pack leader, were you to switch to any of your other trinkets in-game you will not see a huge difference. We’re talking in the 2-3% range at best, though I doubt it’s even that much of a difference.

if you’re wiping at 2% on a mythic boss every bit counts
