I’m on my level 78 alliance lock. There’s a level 554 Entropic Skardyn Core trinket in by bags that requires level 80, but AMR is recommending it for BiB.

Looking at that particular item… it has a bonus ID that modifies the required level, but it doesn’t seem to match what you are seeing in-game… the bonus it is using would set it to required player level of 74 for a level 78 player.
I’m not quite sure how the game is deciding that item requires level 80… it is strange that the specific required level data provided by the blizzard bonus IDs is being ignored or overwritten somehow.
I wonder if the game has some implicit rules based on the item source or item level… but I’m not sure what those rules would be… I could try to take a guess but that’s all it would be.
