LV60 Vengeance Demon Hunter. Starting a within the last few days the Best in Bags began suggesting ilv37 (Legion) Demon Hunter Artifact weapons.

This is a weird edge case because you do not have two level-appropriate weapons that are spec-appropriate. (Your currently-equipped off-hand does not have your primary stat.) Once you get another weapon with agility on it, the issue should go away.

Interesting. I didn’t even catch that the first time (Fresh leveled character with Armament loot mostly)… I had assumed it was going to be better than the 140 offhand I had prior, didn’t noticed it didn’t have agility.

There’s a chance your weapon without agility is slightly better… but we have some code that prunes those out to speed up the optimizer since it is very rare that an item without your primary stat would be optimal, and also rare that a player wouldn’t have another option with the primary stat for that spec.

This case was extra weird because the Legion artifacts have to be used together, so the only option to fill both weapon slots was to equip the artifact.

I was able to get an appropriate offhand and it immediately suggested my original main hand and the new offhand, and is no longer suggesting the Artifact weapons.
