I remember in the “olden days” that you spec DPS for a tank role and survivability for DPS roles I can’t seem to find those anymore. I know you can set specific stats if you want to but that requires that you already know what would result in a DPS increase for a tank spec.

Could you bring those back or maybe explain to me how I could do what I need, thanks in advance.

I think you are looking for the “toughness level” option. That can be found in Step 1 of the setup. Click on the gearing strategy picker (which will say something like: Raid Tanking | All Defense. In there you can pick how much you want to get for toughness vs. DPS.
