I don’t quite understand the question here… what is happening that you don’t expect? Are you doing Best in Bags? When I run Best in Bags for your character, everything looks fine to me.
So as you can see from the screenshot i have 3xFen Spirit Mantle. One for each spec - however Mr. Robot suggests the other piece instead.
And this is something i’ve noticed again and again :).
I’ve set all thresholds to disabled so it should make changes for the smallest increase.
And the other problem i have it is that the game client doesn’t look to see if there are multiple items of the same type and if one of those has the right traits to use that.
Ahh; you’re looking to optimally customise one item per spec? With Azerite items, it may be that the items you have don’t have good overall Traits for your Class, where as the Traits for the 340 may override, so to speak, the additional Str., Agi or Int. the 355’s have. While on the subject of Azerite items, every single one of the 3 items in that screen shot you posted, will 100% have exactly the same Traits.
The only way I can see to get the 355’s acknowledged would be to ‘hide’ the 340 (in Void Storage) & run BiB again - odd way of doing things, but… Also, with 0.15% difference, you could even scrap the 340 & just equip the 355, anyway.
It is a 0.15% improvement - so it’s an upgrade. Besides that i’m sure that the 340 piece is better if i go into Uldir.
I think that the website and the addon are able to distinguish between similar pieces somehow, because if i manually fix pieces to each spec then they get sent to the addon ok. This will defeat the whole purpose of the service though.
All the workarounds you mentioned are valid, however they are workarounds for bugs and bugs should get fixed.
I would need to know what settings you are using to reproduce this: which spec are you optimizing? What spec priority order do you have set? Do you have reorigination array setting set (and at what level) or disabled?
edit: also, are you using single or multi-target?
Destruction - Single (first)
Demonology - Single (second)
Affliction - Multi (third)

Thanks I’ll take a look. Out of curiosity… if you go in-game and activate each spec once, then export again and re-optimize, does it change anything? I notice that your neck slot is empty for demonology spec, sometimes happens when your heart upgrades.
