Protection paladin confused about toughness vs dps

My question is:

What balance between DPS and Toughness is good (lvl 67 Protection Paladin). I don’t want to tax healers too much but I want to maintain good threat.

On the DPS <<–>> Tuff scale I went right in the middle with the profile above.

With the gear you currently have available to you, you aren’t going to be able to tip the scales very far in either direction.

I would try playing with all TUF and see if you can keep threat. If you can’t, start edging up the slider until it puts on a couple DPS-focused items. Keep going until you can keep threat, or you start to die too easily. It is going to be a bit of a guess and test process and depend on how good your healers/DPS are.
