Quest Reward / Delve Treasures Vendor

I remember before you upgraded your website I was able to add items I could choose from a quest reward or buy from a vendor, such as Sir Finley Mrrgglton. I can’t seem to find that in the new set up. When I tried to use the Best In Slot, I was able to add Secret-Dredger’s Armplate, but for some reason the window upgraded all of my slots to 730 iLvL instead of keeping all my iLvLs to what they currently are (which range from 655 to 688 iLvL). I’m just trying to determine if this is a good upgrade for the rest of my gear, only replacing the wrist item. I can’t seem to figure out how to do this with the Best in Bag option. When I click on the wrist and enter Secret-Dredger’s Armplate I get the error message No items match your filters. I don’t want to spend the undercoin for this if it’s not a good upgrade. I mean if it’s only going to help my dps by 0.1% then I don’t want to buy it. I’m not sure if I’m explaining myself clearly. Is it possible to include a piece of gear that I don’t have, but I’m thinking of choosing from a quest reward (between A or B reward) or from a vendor now? It’s been a while, but I seem to recall we use to be able to do that. I’m probably looking at it and just not seeing it though.

The Upgrade Finder is generally the best way to quickly estimate whether an item that you don’t have will be an upgrade or not. We have almost all end-game relevant gear available via the various searches, including Delve items.

The “Quick Search” option would probably be what you want, and ensure the Delve filter is set to the level that you want. You can also specify whether or not you want to spend crests to upgrade those items with the “Max Upgrade Threshold” setting.

There is also the “Add to my Bag” search, which lets you manually choose a specific item and rank it as if you owned it.

Note that sometime tomorrow we are updating for the Midnight pre-patch, and we will temporarily disable the Upgrade Finder until Midnight is launched. The reason that we do this is because the game balance gets so wacky during these pre-patches it is hard to give good rankings. You can read more here: World of Warcraft Midnight Pre-Patch

I gotta laugh, I just read your response and went to check out the Upgrade Finder. It’s greyed out and says, “Coming Soon! The Upgrade Finder will be back when Midnight is released at the end of February.” Which is a little confusing as Midnight isn’t due to be released until March 2, 2026. I suppose March 2nd could be considered the end of February. So, I just need to wait until March 2nd to check it out. Thanks.

I might have written that note when I was really tired, or maybe I was being optimistic that we would put up a full Midnight version a few days before launch, who knows!
