Recent update was great! Just noticing one issue

This is for the TBC optimizer. Thanks for fixing the phase dropdown. Just one issue, previously when I have ring of the fallen god (from AQ40), it gets considered during “Best in Slot”; but now, it does not. Snapshot: 0308be760908424881d352a89e0ba70d

It has consistently up till now included it in the list and phase 1 bis and would have it and Cobalt Band of Tyrigosa as the rings i should use. I suspect Band of the Inevitable similarly would be paired with it as bis, if I had it.

In the item listing, even when I click “Only Bag Items” it shows it with a “-100%” score, even though in “Best in Bags” it is correctly calculating it’s value and equipping it in favor of other rings. The also-very-solid Band of Dark Dominion also has a “-100%” score.

Even though it says “-100%”, when I click ring of the fallen god to force it, the overall dps score goes up from +57% to +57.06% :stuck_out_tongue: So it clearly does know it’s value, it’s just showing it wrong in the list.

I’ll take a look – it must be skipping over those items and not ranking them…

The TBC site has diverged from the retail site a bit over the last couple years. We added a feature during The War Within to always include a player’s entire inventory when running Best in Slot. I don’t think that the TBC version actually does that right now. We can look into copying that feature over to the TBC version.

How do I save a “Custom Setup” for the healing breakdown? I see that there’s a “Load a Custom Setup” button but I don’t see a way to export or save a custom setup, and when I set a custom setup in either BiB or BiS, it doesn’t persist on page reloads or even from one to the other (BiB to BiS and vice versa).

The default really seems to love using circle of healing which is putting all of the healing priorities out of whack :stuck_out_tongue:

To save a custom setup, first optimize your character, then at the top-right of the table of gear when looking at the results, press “save custom setup”:

Then give it a name, and you’ll see it in the list when you press “Load a Custom Setup”.

When you load a custom setup, it takes all of the settings saved in that setup and overwrites your current setup with those (in general: everything on the setup and customize tabs).

Right now… Best in Bags and Best in Slot custom setups are saved separately because each of those features have different settings.

Note that you need to make sure your healer rules total to 100%, or the built-in validation will fall back to the last good configuration.

I’m just happy someone is using the customize feature for the healer spell breakdown!

Setting that to look like what you see in your own logs will get you the best results. I set it to an average I was seeing at the time we first wrote the code for TBC. Sometimes trends/habits change. If most holy priests aren’t using a lot of circle anymore, we could update the defaults.

We just posted an update that should include all of your inventory items as options when running Best in Slot for the TBC version of the site.

As for the list ranking… I didn’t have time to fix that one with this update. Really we should just remove the “bag only” option there – the list ranking only ranks items in the standard lists of end-game gear, as well as any item that appears in the solution. Thus why it shows -100% for most of your inventory items, because they just don’t have a rank.
