Relic issues and not responding with results i would expect

Firstly I am having issues with the site suggesting i still have a non viewed relic, ( I have looked at all and refreshed reinstalled redone all the view talents checks ect)

But more importantly i clearly have a better relic for my spec as a fury warrior and the site is not either detecting it or has a issue with it.

Below i will link my string, in there is a relic for Calcified Barnacle 935. Please could you investigate this and let me know if im wrong please im 100 % certain though it should be used, thanks guys i appreciate what you are doing :slight_smile:

It seems that some people ended up with duplicate relics in the saved data for our addon… not sure how it happened, must have been a bug with the transition from pre- to post-crucible versions of the addon, and that causes it to think there are extra relics sometimes.

You can try deleting your AskMrRobot.lua settings file in your World of Warcraft WTF/account/[your account name]/SavedVariables folder. (Make sure to completely exit WoW first.) That will completely reset our addon, and usually resolves the issue. Note that after doing so, you will need to reinitialize the addon for each of your characters (open bank once, activate each spec once, open the artifact UI for each spec once, open the crucible for each spec once, and preview all relics once). Then it stays in sync automatically thereafter.

As for not recommending the relic swap, that is because of our new “score threshold” feature (described in more detail here: Best in Bags Feature: Score Threshold). In short: that relic would only be a very small estimated DPS increase, so the optimizer says you can go ahead and skip it if you want.

You can change your score threshold in the filters/options (the filter/funnel icon in top-middle of the screen next to the gearing strategy). It defaults to 0.5%, so any relic/gem/enchant change that would be less than that is skipped. You can set it to Disabled if you don’t care how small of a change it would be.

i did all this as suggested and still has not corrected the relics warning or suggesting to use the relic i calculate the relic to be around 0.7 -1.00 % dps increase by double checking using other tools, we are talking about a relic 10 i levels higher 3rd bis relic as main trait best trait in mid tier and best trait in 3rd tier.

If I set the score threshold to disabled, it recommends that you use the relic. Maybe you have some different settings? Maybe you have another spec set as a higher priority?

As you can see, the best-in-bags prediction is extremely close, and these two setups are almost identical in value.

I don’t know what other sources you used so I can’t vouch for their accuracy, but I can tell you with confidence that our simulator is quite accurate. Sometimes the source of small differences is the fact that we base all of our data on simulations of actual boss fights, with simulated movement, timing, etc. That has a minor impact sometimes.

I tried that export from above in my dev system, and there are 4 relics it has no crucible information for:

147112 (felsoul vortex)
147114 (Preserved Starlight Incense)
147115 (Unfurling Origination) – two of these

Did you set the BiB Score Threshold to disabled? What other settings do you have? What is your spec priority? Any other custom settings or locked items? Are you using a custom gearing strategy? I need some more information to figure out why it is not recommending the relic for your Fury spec, because it does recommend it for me if I disable the threshold, as expected.

Also, there is no way you could preview those 4 relics on all thee of your specs… they are Storm relics which can only be previewed on your Fury spec. Could you try going in game, activating your Fury spec, then preview all of your Storm relics one by one, then export to the website again? And if it doesn’t work, could you post the export string here again?

yes i have used a custom gearing for best results using goroth strat, and set it to your strategies just to see if it recommended, i also have disabled the BIB threshold as you said this made no difference to the relic being recommended,

Im aware its fury only but i have even sold the 4 relics just to prove that they were previewed and im still having the issue.I also deleted lua as told again same result, i uninstalled addon and reinstalled addon from site then from curse and still after doing the start up procedure for the numerous time I get no difference.

The latest addon export that you posted has no previewed relic data – it thinks you have not previewed any of your relics. Did you reset our addon somehow, and then not preview the relics again?
