My question is:
When I imported my string, BIB suggested way lower ilvl gear using stuff in my bank.
legs going from 180 to 110
Shoulders from 176 to 110
Belt from 186 to 109
The legs and shoulders are part of a set that get more damage to crusader strike, but is that worth the loss to the other stats?

What’s even worse, for Holy and Prot spec it suggests a helm I used to have, but is no longer in my bags OR my bank.
If you’re seeing stuff that you no longer have, you can usually fix that by re-initializing all saved data in the addon:
- Activate each of your specs once in-game.
- Open your bank once, leave it open for a second or two to give it time to scan.
- Export again – everything should be updated now.
I would need you to post the string of data that you copy from the addon to the website to see what you are seeing – you posted the one that you copy back into the game.
I did as you suggested. I activated each spec, opened my bank, and copied down the import string each time. BIB no longer is looking for the Skoldir helm. There was a short time of confusion as it wants the BackBreaker Spauldes (gemmed for str from my ret build) for both Holy and Prot, but gemmed differently. It would equip it for Holy but tell me I had to open my Bank for Prot. After opening my bank and activating each spec a couple times, it finally used the one set for both without the “open your bank” notification.

I tried your character, everything looks fine to me. If you don’t want it to pick those low item level items, set Gem Quality to None. At your low gear level, all those sockets can be pretty valuable.
Something else to please be aware of. The gear is still showing the Radiant Glory 2 piece set bonus. However the in-game tool tip states that the Legacy bonus is no longer active.
We do not give any value to pre-BfA item effects, set bonuses, etc.
