In the upgrade finder, currently there’s only one checkbox for including/excluding BoE items. Is it at all possible to add the ability to individually Warband vs normal BoE? It would be handy to still have the ability to auto-select greens, but not consider the Warband bank.
I believe that would be possible – I’d have to double check but I think that we can determine when an item is warbound vs. regular BoE reliably from the data available in the game.
That said, let me give you our reasoning for combining those into one option and see what you think of it:
My original thinking on warband and regular BoE items is that they are functionally equivalent to a player: here is an item that I can trade to one of my other characters, and that is then bound to the character once it is equipped. One I’d have to mail, the other I can use this handy warbank… but in the end, more or less the same thing.
The other consideration is that we try our best to give people a lot of customization options, but without having too many options cluttering up the user interface and making it more difficult to use. In this case… it seemed to me that most people would treat these two types of items as functionally similar and 9 times out of 10 check both options or neither option. Thus… it seemed like a good idea to condense it into a single option.
The main case that I could see for separating them is that you might not be able to mail BoE items to some characters in your warband?
