Shaman Best in Bags recommendation weird

Hey,

Snapshopt:

Its telling me to gain 10% crit and equip a pure ST / raid trinket.

Is this in the right? Feels off.

I think getting a good amount of crit for AoE makes sense. The optimizer balances crit/haste and gets a little more mastery, overall. In AoE, you aren’t using much lava burst, which is the only spell that really brings down the value of crit on gear. The crit damage from elemental fury + primordial fury makes crit a generally good stat for elemental shaman.

So replacing Cyrces Circlet with a crit ring and also replacing Reverb Radio trinket for Eye of Kezan (even though stacks drop all the time) is still solid?

I need to put in an M+ adjustment for Eye of Kezan to reduce its value in that game situation. I have a few other tweaks that I’m working on for an update later today.

The total amount of secondary stats gained from your Cyrce’s Circlet and your other ring (with 2 sockets) is pretty close, so which ends up better can depend on the relative value of the particular stats for your specific gear combination.

Thanks team, looking forward to the update.

Hello mate, is the update implemented yet?

I think that I did one update, but I’m working on another set of updates as well, and there’s also the 11.1.5 stuff that we’re working on for next Tuesday.

I believe that I updated eye of kezan for M+ to assume that you’ll be in combat for only ~30 sec at a time, so the average stacks will be low but not zero.

I think 10 secs of “out of combat” between pulls reduces the stacks to 0. Goes very quickly. So its close to 0 at all times in standard pugs.

Once you start fighting though, it begins stacking up again. It is 5 rppm, so on average about every 12 seconds in combat you will get a stack – thus if you are in combat for ~30 sec at a time, give or take, you would average around 2 stacks.
