that is also what happens when you come to classic 6 months late, and we’re now a month and a half late to TBC.

I’m working on my second toon now and im not sure if amr will even really be relevant for me due to there late start and launch. I’m using wowhead to get a bis list and pawn to get upgrades to fill the gaps where I would have used AMR checking items instead if they had actually launched with the launch of classic or TBC.

Very much looking forward. The gear, gem, enchant combos combined with the stat requirements is challenging. Prot Warrior, 490 def target, 27.4% mitigation target, >11k health target, and the bane of my existence, getting the hit so as to not miss a Shield Slam. I can’t wait for the release!

It is really hard to deal with meta gems, jc gems, and socket bonuses. It seems like it should be easy… but it creates a very difficult constrained optimization problem to solve.

Oh, believe me, I know exactly what you mean. Items have a certain value, but once you factor in gem sockets, that value change. Because of this, the value of the gems themselves change. Because of this, the value of the sockets change, again. Over and over and over. It’s a horrible loop, that in most circumstances would be the definition of “Does not compute”.
Been trying to deal with it myself with my own sims, but the only solution Ive been able to come up with, is simply force the spiral to stop, dead in it’s tracks, before it - well, spirals out of control, lol.

Nothing has changed since our last update – still hoping to release it later this week sometime. It really depends on how our testing goes and how many issues we have to fix. If we can get it before the weekend, we will, otherwise we’ll try to do it before next week’s reset.

So, we are now in week 7 since the launce of TBC classic, do you have an actual date for a release or even a beta test? at this point in time anything is better than no news at all?

I’m really missing this tool as a feral druid, to help me sort out both cat and guardian gear and clear out some bag slots that way

They have. Exactly two posts above yours. Tentative before next reset, i,e, Tuesday…or earlier. Possibly before the weekend. I imagine they’re having a hard time with sockets, making FRESH code for Burning Crusade API (they started Mr.Robot in Cataclysm), and are also working on retail’s 9.1 patch still.
