Toughness Level Reached for M8 but not for M7?

So while Mr Robot is saying i Need more gear to reach maximal TUFNESS in Mythic+ 7, which I was expecting, I wanted to compare to Mythic +6 and noticed that I was Toughness level capped on Mythic +6 and uses the much more crude Razdunk’s Big Red Button (instead of Darkmoon Deck: Blockades) which felt like a stark differance since it’s very likely I will doing both levels of content. However, it got more weird when i Noticed that going up to Mythic+ 8, I again had reach my Toughness Level and started equipping DPS gear, while again at M9, I still needed more gear to be TUF again.

  • Gem Quality: Epic
  • Enchant Quality: Weapon + Cheap Ring
  • Gem+Enhcant Threshold: 0.25%
  • Azerite Threshold 1.50%
  • Reorigination Array: Disabled

Below is BiB for mythic levels 4 through 11

  • Mythic+ 4
    Equipping full haste for damage increase, resulting in 2.06% DPS increase. Makes sense
  • Mythic+ 5
    Still reaching the touchness threshold, but equipping two differing pieces and giving a larger DPS increase with 2.42%. This is a weird anomaly aswell, surely Mythic+4 should have the same or larger damage increase than any levels above it.
  • Mythic +6

    The threshold is still reached, using some other pieces than for Mythic+ 5.

    For m+7, we have now extended over the toughness threshold, recomending the purely defensive Darkmoon Deck: Blockades and going full out on Versatility.
  • Mythic+ 8

    Now we’re all of a sudden above the threshold again aswell as getting a higher score than on the previous level.
  • Mythic+ 9
    Again, we’re not reaching the threshold, equipping all the tanky pieces we can get our hands on.

Thanks for the example – I’m working on a few tweaks that I’m going to post sometime later today, we’ll see if it changes anything. If not, I’ll dig into it more closely.

Good! I have a few more tweaks that I’m working on to improve things and handle a few other edge cases people have run into. I don’t expect it to significantly change the rankings for most people, but it might have a small impact here and there.
