I am just trying to understand the suggestion for the upgrade from the great vault. According to ARM, I should pick up the Killer Queen’s Wristflickers with the following stats:

Wrist
Item Level 626
Veteran 2/8
2,046 Armor
+1,891 Agility
+11,419 Stamina
+708 Critical Strike
+363 Haste
ARM says it would be a +1.86% upgrade.
The problem I see is that my current wrist item as all the same stats but they are higher so I can’t figure out how this is an upgrade. My current wrist is:
Nitroclad Armguards
Wrist
Item Level 639
Champion 2/8
2,213 Armor
+2,134 Agility
+13,614 Stamina
+715 Critical Strike
+423 Haste
Am I missing something. I am reluctant to take this item and waste a week of raids for something that is not as good as what I have and can be upgraded even higher than a veteran item.
I’ll take a look – that item should not be showing as an upgrade. Thanks for the snapshot, it really helps with tracking down issues like this.
So this is an issue with the item Best-in-Slots – it is a weird item that can be converted to a caster or physical weapon with its on-use effect outside of combat.
For some reason on the live site it is importing your gear and seeing the item in the caster form rather than the physical form for your feral setup, and that is leading to some unusual issues.
On my development server, re-importing your exact same information correctly converts it to the physical form for your feral setup, and then the upgrade finder rankings are correct.
We can’t do a website update until next Tuesday with a fix because we are buried in 11.2 changes right now. For the next few days you can work around the problem though:
- After running Best in Bags for your feral setup, click on the weapon slot to bring up the list, then click on the Best-in-Slots weapon. That will lock it in, you’ll see the orange lock icon next to it in the table.
- Then press re-optimize, the result should be the same as before
- Then run the upgrade finder again. The ranking should look correct now.
After our website update on next Tuesday, you can unlock the weapon and optimize as usual and it should work as intended.
